Fountain of time

The Halifax waterfront’s iconic bent lamp post — part of the installation Fountain — stands in silhouette, glowing faintly as dawn floods the harbour with color. In this moment, it becomes more than a streetlight; it’s a timekeeper. A reminder that while nights fade and days begin, the harbour holds its own rhythm, steady and unbroken. 

“Fountain of Time” captures the stillness before the day takes over — the benches empty, the boards worn, the sky alive. It’s Halifax distilled into light, wood, and water.
