“Through the Wheelhouse” captures that perfect Halifax moment—early light, calm water, and a ship cutting clean across the harbour.

Shot during one of my daily walks along the Halifax boardwalk, this scene is framed by the signature red, blue, and yellow chairs that line the waterfront. The silhouette of the ship glows against the horizon, steering directly through the ‘wheelhouse’ of this image—framed by the path, the chairs, and the light.
